How to Spray Fixative

    • 1). Apply matte fixatives to finished drawings. Shake can vigorously for one to two minutes to mix the chemicals thoroughly. Workable fixative will create a permanent, clear layer over the artwork to keep everything set. Shake can vigorously for one to two minutes to mix the chemicals thoroughly.     • 3). Apply gloss fixative over finished artwork. Gloss finish will create a shiny, finished layer over the artwork while fixing everything in place permanently. Apply workable fixative over permanent areas in the artwork that you are completely satisfied with and do not want to make any corrections to.
