- 1). Scrape one of the corners of each window with the blade to lift up the film. Grab the corner piece firmly and begin to pull. Scrape until all the film is removed from the window.
- 2). Add 2 tbsp. of dish detergent to the water-filled spray bottle. Turn over the bottle a few times to blend the soap without creating a sudsy mix. Spray the window and begin to scrape away the glue. Continue to spray and scrape until the glue residue is gone.
- 3). Scrub the window with the steel wool to remove any resistant pieces of glue. Wipe the surface of the window with a paper towel to remove the glue.
- 4). Wet down a few paper towels and clean the soap and remaining debris from the window. Allow the window to dry and inspect the surface. If there are still spots with residual glue, use the soapy mixture and the steel wool once more.
