- 1). Raise the Aurora's hood and loosen the negative battery cable. Once loose, remove it from the negative post of the battery.
- 2). Access the headlight switch. To do this, you will need to remove part of the dashboard on the left-hand side of the steering wheel. First, remove the two panel screws with your screwdriver. Next, pry back the dash panel with a screwdriver to access the switch.
- 3). Pull the plug out of the back of the switch. The plug is plastic and will pull directly out by hand when you press in on the two locking tabs on its sides.
- 4). Place your wrench on the bolts that hold the headlight sensor in place and rotate them to the left to loosen them and take them off. Take the old switch out. Stick the new headlight switch in its place and put the mounting bolts back in. Plug the plastic wiring plug into the new headlight switch.
- 5). Re-assemble the dashboard by reversing the process of what you did to take it apart. Put the negative battery cable on and tighten it firmly.
