Dog barking cures are very easy to do, but many of them will vary depending on the need of your pet.
I know that for some people the cure can be as simple as utilizing a collar that discourages your dog from making his normal noise, some do not even have to worry about the barking because they simply do not do it, but for some of us we have to teach our dog the meaning of the word quiet.
Teaching them the word quiet works for all three of the dog types normally and is very easy to do and then you do not have to worry about forgetting your collar.
Now you might be asking how you can go about teaching them what the word quiet means.
Now the way that I managed to do this is when my dog would start letting his voice be heard I would tell him to be quiet and put my finger over my own lips.
Now for some dogs this would act like a distraction that they would listen to right away, but for mine it took several times of doing this.
You will have to repeat this command often as it will take time for him to learn exactly what the word quiet means.
Now when he does stop barking when you tell him the word quiet you will want to reward him with a great big old pat on the chest which will let him know that he did something good and make him feel proud so that way he will keep doing this behavior when you tell him to.
