Jeep Liberty Taillight Removal

    • 1). Shut the Jeep Liberty's engine off and step to the back of the vehicle. Open the cargo door fully. Inspect the inside edge of the taillight. Find the two screws that secure it.

    • 2). Remove the two screws from the inside edge of the taillight. Place the screws somewhere safe to re-install the taillight.

    • 3). Pull the taillight firmly out of place. With the screws out, the taillight should slide out easily.

    • 4). Squeeze the tab on the electrical connector. This attaches to the taillight to the vehicle and powers the bulb strip inside. Unplug the connector to separate the taillight.
