- 1). Remove the following parts from your motorcycle according to the owner's manual: seat, fuel tank, throttle and idle cables, factory air cleaner, the wiring harnesses connected to the idle air controller and the manifold air pressure.
- 2). Unbolt the IAC unit and MAP sensor from the throttle with an Allen wrench.
- 3). Press the MAP seal onto the vacuum adapter body and connect the vacuum adapter to the MAP sensor by hand.
- 4). Place the IAC bracket and the corresponding screws onto the throttle body. Before you tighten the screws with a screwdriver, make sure the throttle body and the MAP sensor fits snuggly together. The vacuum adapter body and the tab of the IAC unit fit snug as well. Tighten the screws with a screwdriver.
- 5). Attach the supplied vacuum hose to the fitting on the vacuum adapter.
- 6). Reattach the MAP sensor and IAC unit wiring harnesses along with the throttle and idle cables. Also, reinstall the seat, fuel tank and factory air cleaner.
- 7). Set the support bracket onto the throttle body and install it with the provided bolts but do not tighten the bolts.
- 8). Install the intake gasket between the support bracket and throttle body. Once it is aligned, tighten the throttle body bolts a wrench.
- 9). Remove ¼-inch of each end of the breather hose with a utility knife. Install the hose between the 90-degree breather adapter fitting and the front head. Install the uncut breather hose between the pointed fitting on the breather adapter and the rear breather adapter. Tie the ends of the hoses with the cable ties supplied with the hypercharger and cut the ends of the ties with a utility knife.

Detach the trap door of the hypercharger with an Allen wrench. - 11
Tighten the chrome mounting bracket with an Allen wrench by inserting the three ¼-inch bolts into the mounting holes. - 12
Hold the gaskets between the breather adapter, support bracket and air cleaner in place and tighten -- hand-tight plus one quarter turn with a standard wrench -- the bolts of the throttle assembly. - 13
Reinstall the trap door and connect the vacuum line from the hypercharger to the air jet.
