- 1). Cut a length of wire to measure 1 inch long.
- 2). Bend the wire into a circle using needle-nosed pliers.
- 3). Cut five pieces of wire to each measure 1/2 inch long.
- 4). Twist the end of each wire onto the wire circle using needle-nosed pliers. These will be the fingers and thumb of the hand.
- 5). Cut a length of wire to measure 1 inch long.
- 6). Twist the wire to the opposite side of the wire circle as the fingers and thumb.
- 7). Cover the wire structure with flexible polymer clay except for the longer 1-inch wire.
- 8). Shape the polymer clay around the wires using a clay knife to make the structure look more realistic.
- 9). Place the structure onto a jelly roll tray.

Bake the hand in a 200 degree oven for 10 minutes. - 11
Allow the hand to cool completely before attaching the longer 1-inch wire to the end of the arm on the jointed doll. - 12
Repeat the entire process to make a second hand.
