- 1). Raise your hood and loosen and remove the negative battery cable with your wrench.
- 2). Open your E-350's passenger door. The blower motor is located under and behind the glove compartment. Set just to the side is a small plastic cover; the blower motor resistor is inside. Remove the two small screws that hold this cover in place with a Phillips screwdriver.
- 3). Push in on the two tabs of the wiring harness plug and pull it from the back of the resistor. Loosen the retaining bolt with your wrench. This bolt holds the resistor in place. Set the new resistor in its place and re-insert the retaining bolt. Tighten the bolt down with your wrench by turning it to the right.
- 4). Set the plastic cover back in place and reinsert the two screws with your screwdriver. Also re-connect the negative battery cable.
- 5). Turn your key to the "On" position and test the fan blower to make sure it works at all speeds.
