Arizona's warm weather and perpetual sunshine make it an excellent state for children's parties. There are creative and interesting venues across the state, from the Phoenix Zoo to amusement parks in Mesa. There are also indoor party venues for those really hot days. The venues in Arizona offer themed, organized parties with group rates and provided entertainment. Some venues also provide refreshments for the guests. - Party packages at the Phoenix Zoo include admission for ten children and twelve adults. The package is $300 for non-members and $250 for members. The zoo recommends guests make reservations at least six weeks in advance because they sell out quickly. The party rental includes an open-air ramada with a choice of four themes: safari, farm, sea life, and creepy crawly. The zoo provides an official party host who will lead the tour and an additional nature activity. Party invitations and gift bags are also included in the package. For refreshments, the zoo provides ice cream and cake, as well as drinks and utensils. Each child gets a ride on the zoo's carousel. The zoo does not allow alcohol, balloons, glassware or noise makers because they are safety hazards for the animals. Additional children over the allowed ten are an extra $30 for non-members and $25 for members. Additional adults must also pay a fee, unless they are members.
