On the same token, I don't like a lot of things some writers do, but I'm not going to provoke a literary war over it.
Some write online articles for fame, some do it for money, and some do it as a hobby.
I enjoy writing articles.
I haven't been doing it lately, but I'm getting back on track.
I actively promote my website at the bottom of the article, hoping the kind readers will check out my site.
I do promote the books that I have written, but if they don't feel like buying a book that will be ok.
People are reading what I have to say and they are taken the time to visit my site.
I am thankful for that.
Every online article writer is different.
Just like each of us are different in our everyday lives.
I am an opinionated person, so I write articles.
It's a way to release what's on my mind and hopefully it will entertain a few folks.
I don't feel I'm taking away from the writers who want to be paid.
