- 1). Open the Windows Task manager by holding "Ctrl" and "Shift" while pressing the "Escape" key.
- 2). Select the "Applications" tab.
- 3). Click the "New Task..." button to open the Run prompt.
- 4). Type "regedit" into the run prompt and press "Enter" to open the Windows Registry Editor. Select "Yes" if prompted by Windows. You can now edit the Windows registry.
