How to Remove a CD Player From a 2005 Ford Focus

    • 1). Pry the center dash bezel off of the dashboard. Use the trim tool to remove the bezel. You can buy a trim tool at many auto parts retailers for about the same price as a good screwdriver. Set the bezel aside.

    • 2). Remove the bolts that hold the radio in place. Use the socket set to remove the bolts.

    • 3). Grab the head unit with your hand. Pull the head unit straight outward from the dashboard.

    • 4). Disconnect the wiring harness from the rear of the head unit by hand and pull it off of the head unit. Grab the antenna input, which is next to the wiring harness, and pull it out as well.
