How to Program a Transporter Key in a 2002 Mitsubishi Galant

    • 1). Insert the ODB-II connector cable into the open slot on your car's dashboard and wait for the device to start beeping.

    • 2). Wait for the chimes to stop and press the button on the connector 15 times.

    • 3). Wait for the system to beep that number of times, insert your key into the ignition and turn it to the "On" position.

    • 4). Press the button on the connector again, wait for the red LED light to stop blinking and wait for the green light to turn on.

    • 5). Remove the connector and your ignition key, insert your key into the ignition again, turn it "On" and wait five seconds. You can then turn it to the "Start" position to complete the programming.
