- 1). Fold the front of the blouse down the center front. Place the blouse on the paper aligning the center fold with the left edge of the paper. Leave a 1-foot margin at the top of the paper.
- 2). Trace around the neckline, shoulder, armhole and underarm seam.

Hold the end of the string at the corner point, and the pen tip at the center front of the pattern at the desired length of the cape. Draw an arc creating a quarter of a circle joining the two perpendicular lines.

- 1). Align the shoulder pieces with the front sides of the fabric facing each other, and sew 1/2-inch seams from the neckline to the bottom of the cape. Repeat with the other side.
- 2). Repeat Step 1 assembling the lining.
- 3). Align the capelet and the lining with the right sides together. Secure with pins.
- 4). Sew all around the cape leaving about four inches unsewn.
- 5). Clip the curves of the seam every few inches to allow the seam to turn smoothly. Avoid clipping through the stitching.
- 6). Turn the capelet right side out.
- 7). Press the seams with the steam iron.
