How to Adjust the Headlights on a 2005 Yukon Denali

    • 1). Park your 2005 Yukon Denali directly in front of a vertical surface, such as a wall.

    • 2). Mark on the wall, using tape, the vertical and horizontal positions of the headlights.

    • 3). Measure out 25 feet away from the wall. Mark that spot on the ground with more tape.

    • 4). Back up your Denali until the headlights are directly above the marked spot on the ground. Turn on your headlights.

    • 5). Open your hood and insert the torx wrench into the star-shaped screw above the headlight you want to adjust. Turn the screw to change the vertical aim of the headlight. Aim the beam so that it hits within 2 inches of the tape on the wall.
