How to Use Windows XP Boot Disk for Windows Vista

    • 1). Insert the boot disk into the Vista computer.

    • 2). Start the computer and press the indicated key to enter "Setup" (or "BIOS").

    • 3). Highlight "Boot Menu" and press "Enter."

    • 4). Select "Primary boot device," press "Enter" and select "3.5 inch floppy" (for traditional boot disks) or "CD-ROM" (for boot CDs).

    • 5). Press "Esc," then "Y" to exit while saving.

    • 6). Press any key as the Vista PC is loading to boot from the information contained on the boot disk.
