- 1). Cut fleece into two even pieces along the width. Two yards of 50" fleece will produce two pieces 36" by 50", which makes a generously sized blanket.
- 2). Layer the two pieces of fleece, making sure that they are lined up on all sides.
- 3). Mark off four-inch long lines every two inches, using the ruler and marker, around all four sides of the top piece of fleece. Carefully cut along each of these lines through both layers of fleece making a fringe.
- 4). Tie the corresponding bottom and top pieces of fringe together using a square knot. Continue around the entire perimeter of the blanket.
