- 1). Click the "Start" button, then choose "Search" and select "All Files or Folders."
- 2). Type in "spoclsv.exe" and press "Enter." All of the file paths for infected files appears on the screen. Copy these paths either to a word processor or write the file paths down.
- 3). Select "Start," (My) "Computer" and double-click the "C:" icon. Navigate to all of the file paths you found in the previous step, right-click the file and select "Delete" to delete the file from your computer.
- 4). Hold down "CTRL," "ALT" and "DELETE" to load the Windows Task Manager. Choose "Image Name," then select any running process with "spoclsv.exe." Click "End Process" and the files stop running on the computer.
