- 1). Connect a USB cable from your Sony PSP to your computer. Turn your PSP on if it isn't already. Go to "Settings," on your PSP, then select "USB Connection" to activate it if it isn't already.
- 2). Click "Browse files and folders" in Windows Explorer once your operating system detects the new connected device.
- 3). Press "Ctrl+"N" to create a new folder and type "MUSIC" (without quotations) to name the folder. Press "Enter" to create the folder. Browse to the songs you want to transfer in another Windows Explorer window, then select them. Press "Ctrl"+"C" to copy them, switch to the "MUSIC" folder, and press "Ctrl"+"V" to paste them. Repeat this until you've added all the songs you want to.
- 4). Click the backward arrow in the "MUSIC" folder to go back to the PSP Memory Stick main folder. Press "Ctrl"+N" to create a new folder and name it "PICTURE." Double-click it to open it. In a new Windows Explorer window, browse to the photos or images you want to transfer, select them, press "Ctrl"+"C" and then select the "PICTURE" folder, and press "Ctrl"+"V" to paste the photos.
