How to Find What Programs Start With Windows XP

    • 1). Turn the computer on, and let Windows XP start up.

    • 2). Click "Start" in the task bar. A box will open.

    • 3). Choose "Run," and a small window will appear.

    • 4). Type "msconfig" in the text box inside the window, and then click "OK." The System Configuration window will appear.

    • 5). Click the "Startup" tab that is positioned at the top of the System Configuration window, and all of the programs that start up with Windows XP will be listed inside the window.
