- 1). Position the 6mm Imperial Jasper beads on the beading board. For the shortest strand, place 30 beads; place 37 beads for the center strand and 38 beads for the longest strand
- 2). Arrange a 3 to 1 connector and nine 6mm Imperial Jasper beads and two 4mm sterling silver beads on each side in the center row on the beading board.
- 3). Create a temporary bead stopper by tying an overhand knot in each strand of beading wire. This knot prevents your beads from sliding off the opposite end of the wires as you string them. String each row of the necklace.
- 4). Connect all three strands of the bib necklace on one side to a 3 to 1 connector. String a crimping bead and connector ring on the unknotted end of strand two (center strand). String the beading wire back through the crimping bead and three 6mm Imperial Jasper beads. Tighten the beading wire against the 3 to 1 connector.
- 5). Crimp the crimping bead with your crimping pliers, which helps you create an effective seal to prevent the beads from sliding off the beading wire. String the remaining two strands of your bib necklace to the 3 to 1 connector, stringing the wire back through a crimping bead and 3 6mm Imperial Jasper beads and tightening the wire against the connector. Crimp the crimping bead on each strand. Repeat the process for each end on the opposite side of your bib necklace.
- 6). String a crimping bead and the ring end of one 3 to 1 connector on one 6 inch length of beading wire. Slide the beading wire back through the crimping bead. Tighten the wire against the connector and crimp the crimping bead.
- 7). Add nine 6mm Imperial Jasper beads, two 4mm beads, a crimping bead and one half of the toggle clasp, then pass the beading wire back through the crimping bead, two of the 4mm beads and one of the 6mm beads. Tighten the wire against the 3 to 1 connector. Repeat for the second necklace strand. Crimp all crimping beads and trim all excess beading wires. Add the crimp covers and squeeze them shut with the crimping pliers
