- 1). Fight monsters until your character's default class, the novice, is job level 10.
- 2). Press "Control+S" to bring up the "Skills" menu. Place your skill points into the "Basic" skill until it is level 9. To do this, click on the arrow next to the skill; each time you do, it will level up the skill.
- 3). Visit the job change guide in the basement level of the Morroc Pyramid Dungeon. To get to the dungeon, go through the upper-left portal in Morroc. This will take you to the Morroc Ruins map. From this map, head to the upper-left portion of the map once again to find the Morroc Pyramid Dungeon. Navigate through the dungeon and find the portal in the center of the map. Go through the room on the left to enter the thief job change room.
- 4). Speak to the female NPC (nonplayable character), Thief Guide, and select the option informing her that you wish to be a thief. She will tell you to collect mushrooms.
- 5). Speak to the Irrelevant Man on the Morroc Ruins map. He is located at coordinates 141, 125. To find your current coordinates on a map, type "/where" into the chat box. After speaking to the Irrelevant Man, he will warp you to Shibu's Farm.
- 6). Attack mushrooms on the Shibu's Farm map until you collect 25 points' worth of mushrooms. Orange Net Mushrooms are worth three points each, while Orange Gooey Mushroom are worth one point each.
- 7). Return to the Thief Job Change room in the Morroc Pyramids Dungeon. Speak to the male NPC Comrade Brad. He will change you into a thief if you have 25 or more points' worth of mushrooms.
