- 1). Open the McAfee product you would like to register. Locate the McAfee icon on the right-hand side of your Windows taskbar and right-click on it. This icon will be a small gray square with a red letter "M" in the center. Click the "Updates" option in the menu that appears.
- 2). Click the "Next" button at the bottom of the "McAfee Product Registration" screen that appears. The McAfee product registration Web page will open in your default Web browser. Select how you obtained the McAfee product you are registering from the list of options and click the "Continue" button at the bottom of the page.
- 3). Type in the information required in order to register your McAfee product on the page that comes up next. This information includes your name, address, phone number and email address. You will also be asked to specify which product you are registering, where it was purchased, and the "Product ID" of your McAfee product.
- 4). Verify that all of the information you have entered on the McAfee product registration page is correct. Click the "Submit" button at the bottom of the page to continue. McAfee will verify that the information you have entered is valid and inform you that the product was successfully registered.
