A Password Problem When Logging into Windows

    Windows 7 Installation Disc

    • 1). Insert the Windows 7 installation disc into the computer's CD-ROM drive and reboot the computer (Resource 1).

    • 2). Select language settings, then click "Next" (Resource 1).

    • 3). Click "Repair your computer" (Resource 1).

    • 4). Choose the "Restore your computer using a system image that you created earlier" option, then click "Next" (Resource 1).

    Password Reset Disc

    • 1). Enter an incorrect password in the login screen, then click "OK." When the message appears telling you the password is wrong, insert the Windows 7 password reset disc, then click "Reset password" (Resource 1).

    • 2). Click "Next" when the "Welcome to Password Reset Wizard" window appears (Resource 1).

    • 3). Select a disc drive, then click "Next" (Resource 1).

    • 4). Type in a new password, then retype the new password, then enter a password hint. Click "Next," then click "Finish" (Resource 1).
