Removal of Splinters from Swimming Pool Fiberglass

    • 1). Cut a piece of clear packing tape.

    • 2). Press the tape over the splinter and pull it off. Sometimes the fiberglass splinter will attach to the tape.

    • 3). Warm up hair remover wax in your microwave for ten seconds.

    • 4). Spread a thin layer of wax over the fiberglass splinter.

    • 5). Cover it with a wax removing cloth strip. This will come in the wax removal package.

    • 6). Let the cloth and wax sit for five minutes.

    • 7). Peel the cloth off carefully to remove the fiberglass splinter. This will remove any splinters that are large and painful. It may not remove small splinters that you cannot feel. These splinters will be worked out when your skin sheds normally.
