How to Clean Grease Stains From Fabric

    • 1). Drip a couple drops of the concentrated liquid dish soap in the center of the grease stain.

    • 2). Work the soap into the fabric with a slightly damp toothbrush. Use a tight circular pattern and medium to light pressure to work the soap into a lather.

    • 3). Flip the fabric and repeat the lathering process if you are able to access the backside. Add another drop or two of the concentrated soap if there is not enough present to form a sufficient lather for full coverage.

    • 4). Allow the suds to soak into the fabric for ten minutes before rinsing the treated areas with warm water. Soak the fabric in the water, if possible, or simply dab with a damp sponge. Warm-water launder and air dry treated garments.

    • 5). Examine the stained area once it has dried completely. Retreat any grease stains that are still visible using the same technique, until they are completely washed out.
