- Many of the issues users report with the LabelWriter 450 Turbo, including problems with the labels not coming out of the printer, are due to improperly inserted label rolls. To fix the label roll, open the top cover of the printer and remove the spindle. Slide the spool guide off the spindle, press the label roll so it sits flush against the spindle, reattach the spindle guide and press it firmly against the right side of the label roll, then reinsert the spindle.
- Labels stuck to parts inside the printer may cause printer jams. To remove a label stuck to the inside of the printer, open the top cover and remove the spindle. Slide the supplied cleaning card into the label feed area as if you were loading a roll of labels and press the Feed button on the front of the printer to pull the cleaning card through the printer, removing the stuck label in the process.
- Poor print quality is often the result of a bad batch of labels or a dirty print head. Replace the current label roll with a new label roll and test the printout. If the quality is still poor, pass the cleaning card through the printer to clean the print head.
