How to Troubleshoot a Blue Screen at Windows Install

    • 1). Shut down the computer. Unplug it.

    • 2). Remove the screws at the back of the case and remove the side case panel.

      Unclasp all but one RAM (random access memory) chip from the motherboard (the chips that look exactly like the chips in the picture) and pull them out of the system.

    • 4). Unplug the data cable from the back of your other hard drives--the cable leading from your hard drive to your motherboard--leaving only one active drive in the system.

    • 5). Close up the computer and repeat the installation process.
