How to Restart on a System Failure in XP Home

    • 1). Click on the "Start" button from the Windows XP desktop menu.

    • 2). Right-click on the "My Computer" option and then click on the "Properties" option.

    • 3). Click on the "Advanced" tab in the Properties dialog box and then click on the "Settings" option below the "Startup and Recovery" section.

    • 4). Click on the box next to the "Automatically restart" field so that it's selected. Click on the "OK" button to save your changes.

    • 5). Close out of the windows and all other open programs. Restart your computer and now whenever there is a system failure, Windows XP will automatically restart.
