- 1). Yank the keychain and the LEGO apart. The keychain will snap right off. Hold the piece as close to the top of the LEGO as you can to avoid damaging the piece.
- 2). Thread the paper clip through the top of the metal hoop that's still jutting out of the top of the LEGO piece.
- 3). Use the pliers to pull the screw inside out. Apply a lot of force, as you're going against the thread of the screw. It may take several minutes of effort before the screw comes out. Once it does, you'll have your LEGO piece complete without the keychain.
