How to Remove Wax From a Mold

    • 1). Wipe the mold with a paper towel and a wax-release product to remove as much wax as possible.

    • 2). Heat your oven to low (no more than 170 degrees Fahrenheit).

    • 3). Place three or four paper towels on a cookie sheet.

    • 4). Turn your mold upside down, and place it on top of the paper towels.

    • 5). Put the cookie sheet in the oven, and heat the mold for five minutes. Check the mold to see if excess wax has melted. Continue heating up to five more minutes if needed.

    • 6). With an oven mitt, remove the mold from the oven, and wipe it clean with a fresh paper towel.
