- 1). Draw a circle and a smaller one intersecting at the upper right of the first. Draw another smaller circle above and to the right of that. Make sure the third one doesn't intersect with the others.
- 2). Draw two straight lines connecting the topmost circle to the middle one. This will be the dinosaur's neck.
- 3). Draw a tiny circle at the very bottom of the first circle. Draw two lines below that in an open triangle shape. These will be the legs.
- 4). Make the tail at the left of the largest circle. It should be triangular in shape, but with a slight inward curve at the largest portion. Curve it at the tip going in the opposite direction.
- 5). Draw an arm coming out of the second circle. Tyrannosaurus arms are very short and spindly, so be sure to make them very narrow and skinny.
- 6). Fill in the facial features. Draw a large, open mouth with spikes for the teeth. Make the dinosaur's face a profile view. Draw a tiny darkened circle for the nostril and an eye in the shape of a half-almond.
- 7). Fill in the legs by drawing around the guidelines for them. Draw birdlike feet. Erase all your guide lines afterward.
- 8). Make your drawing more realistic by adding shading to your dinosaur. Use the side of the tip of your pencil to achieve lighter shading. Press harder with your pencil point for darker shading.
