- 1). Cut the ribbon into two equal pieces. Grosgrain ribbon will work best and can be purchased at any fabric store.
- 2). Place the center of a piece of ribbon underneath the foot and pull the pieces up so they are equal on both sides of the foot.
- 3). Crisscross the ribbon around the calf, coming up to the knee. The crisscrosses should form large "X" shapes on the front and back of the calf.
- 4). Tie the ribbon in a knot once you reach the knee. The knot should be underneath the knee. To keep the knotted ribbon in place, a rubber band can be slipped under the knee and over the knot to keep it secure. Make sure the rubber band is not too tight or painful.
- 5). Repeat the process for the other leg.
- 6). Slip your feet into flip flops the same color of the ribbon you used, and it will give the illusion of Grecian sandals.
