- 1). Line up the ends of the two strings. Tie a knot in one of the ends an inch down from the very end. Tape the knotted end of the strings to a table.
- 2). Hold the other end of the two strings and begin to twist them--counterclockwise or clockwise, it doesn't matter. Keep twisting the strings in the same direction until you feel them start to try and twist around themselves.
- 3). Pinch the middle of the twisted strings. Fold the end you are holding up to the end tapes to the table. Let go of the middle. The two halves of the twisted strings will wind around each other to created a twisted strand twice as thick as the original strand.
- 4). Remove the tape from the knotted part and tie the two ends together in one knot. Fasten the bracelet around your wrist by slipping the knot through the looped end of the twisted strand.
