- 1). Insert the Jetdirect CD into your computer's CD drive.
- 2). Click "Star," then click the "Printers and Faxes" icon in the Start menu. This opens the Printers and Faxes window.
- 3). Double-click the "Add Printer" icon. This starts the "Add Printer" wizard. Click the "Next" button in the wizard.
- 4). Click "Add a network printer, or a printer attached to another computer" in the wizard, then click the "Next" button.
- 5). Follow the prompts in the wizard. Choose the Jetdirect CD drive when prompted for a driver location.
- 6). Click "OK" to complete the wizard. Your HP Jetdirect printer will now appear in the list of printers.
