- 1). Cut out a circle from felt fabric using scissors to measure 4 inches across. Trim curved triangles out of the the edge of the circle to make the edge look like it has petals.
- 2). Cut out a circle from a different color of felt fabric using pinking shears to measure 3 inches across. Trim curved triangles out of the edge of the circle to make the edge look like it has petals.
- 3). Sew the center of the smaller felt flower onto the center of the larger felt flower. Position the smaller flower so that the petals lay in the spaces in between the larger flower's petals.
- 4). Insert a hot glue stick into a hot glue gun, and plug the hot glue gun into a wall outlet to heat up for 10 minutes.
- 5). Squeeze a pea-sized dollop of hot glue onto the center of the doubled felt flowers, and press a pom-pom onto the hot glue dollop. Hold the pom-pom in place for one minute to allow the hot glue to cool and harden.
- 6). Cut a piece of ribbon magnet with scissors to measure 1 inch long. Peel the adhesive backing off of the magnet, and press the sticking backing onto the back of the 3D felt flower to use it as a magnet.
