- 1). Place your Windows 7 or Windows Vista installation DVD in your computer's DVD drive, and reboot your computer by pressing "Ctrl," "Alt" and "Delete" simultaneously.
- 2). Press any key on your keyboard when your computer asks if you would like to boot from the DVD.
- 3). Click "Next" and then "Repair your computer." Select the partition on which you installed Windows 7 or Vista, and click "Next."
- 4). Click "Startup repair." Wait a few minutes for the program to reinstall Bootmgr and rebuild your computer's boot records. Click "Yes" to reboot your computer. You will now be able to boot your computer normally.
