How to Remove a Fiero Ignition Coil

    • 1). Pop the hood of the car. Remove the negative connection on the battery using an open-end wrench.

    • 2). Locate the ignition coil you want to remove, which will have an ignition wire running between the cylinder head and the coil itself. Pull the ignition wire off of the coil by gripping the wire at the base and twisting it up and off of the coil.

    • 3). Unbolt the ignition coil from the engine using the 3/8-inch ratchet, extension and sockets. Remove the ignition coil from the vehicle.
