How to Speed Up the Opening of XP

    • 1). Click "Start," then "Run... ."

    • 2). Type in "msconfig," then press "Enter."

    • 3). Click the "Startup" tab. You will see a list of all the applications on your computer that start running automatically whenever you start XP. Deselect the programs you do not need nor want to start while XP is loading by unchecking the box next to each of their names.

    • 4). Click "OK." Restart your computer.
