How to Get Rid of Transparency in Windows Vista

    • 1). Right click the desktop, scroll down the menu and then click "Personalize" to launch the "Personalize Appearance and Sounds" window.

    • 2). Click the "Windows Color and Appearance" link to launch the "Windows Color and Appearance" window. You should see a check mark next to the "Enable Transparency" option.

    • 3). Click the "Enable Transparency" check box to clear the check mark, then click "OK" to save your changes.
