- 1). Fold the top edge of the paper down to the bottom edge. Crease and unfold it. Fold the left edge over to the right. Crease and unfold it. Fold the square in half along both diagonals, crease and unfold. Fold the tips of each of the four corners inward.
- 2). Collapse your project into a waterbomb base. To do this, follow the natural creases along the diagonal. Fold inward on the creases and fold the project over in half. Flip the project over so that the tip is pointing upward.
- 3). Open and squash down the bottom right flap. This is called squash fold. Repeat this with the left front flap and the two flaps in the back. Fold each of the four corners inside the project.
- 4). Squash fold open the bottom two front flaps, then fold the two corners back. Tuck both of the corners inside the pockets that you have just created. Repeat this step with the other three flaps.
- 5). Press down the top point, inside the project. This is called a sink fold. Gently open the model while pulling the flaps downward and counterclockwise. They will naturally move in this direction. Flip your project over for your completed diamond rose.
