How to Make a Multi Strand Illusion Bead Necklace

    • 1). Cut transparent beading wire into three, 20-inch long segments. Pick up one segment and slide a crimp bead onto the end. Scoot the bead down until there's about an inch overhang of wire above it.

    • 2). Loop the overhanging wire through the bottom hole of the multi-strand clasp. Complete the circle by feeding the remaining wire into the crimp bead. Use pliers to crimp the bead inward to hold the wire in place and secure the closure.

    • 3). Repeat Steps 1 and 2 to secure the other two segments of wire to the clasp. Map out where you would like the decorative beads to go on each strand. Place the beads on the table in front of the spot you choose. Flank each decorative bead with a set of crimp beads.

    • 4). Start beading the bottom wire. Slide on a crimp ring first, then the decorative bed followed by the other crimp bead. Position the trio until you're happy with their placement. Use the pliers to clamp the crimp beads to secure. Repeat until all of the beads for the strand are in place.

    • 5). Repeat Step 4 for the other two segments of wire. Stagger the beads so that the beads of one wire don't sit on top of the beads of a lower wire.

    • 6). Use the final three crimp rings to secure the loose ends of the wires to the other side of the multi-strand clasp. Clamp the rings closed and hook the clasp until ready to wear.
