- 1). Draw the skirt of the dress. This will be the shape of a bell, as wide as you choose. Draw only the sides; leave the bottom and top blank.
- 2). Draw an oval shape that swoops all the way around the bottom of the skirt. When you've drawn the full oval, erase the line through the back of the skirt, so that the oval appears to start at one side of the skirt and finish on the other side.
- 3). Draw the top of the skirt upward in a line that curves inward gently at the waist, then back out over the torso. End the line at a point just below the spot where the arms would connect to the shoulders.
- 4). Draw straight upward over the arms and end the lines at the shoulders, then draw inward toward the neck. This will be a sleeveless wedding dress; add sleeves later if you prefer.
- 5). Connect the two sides of the wedding dress at the top with a scoop neck (a C on its side) or a v-neck.
- 6). Add details to the dress as desired: flowers, ribbons, pleats, stitches, etc.
