- 1). Use acetone on a cloth around the crack in the marble to wipe away any dirt or grime in the area. Use paint stripper to remove any finish on the area around the crack. Vacuum the area to remove any chips or pieces of dirt.
- 2). Mix a small amount of grout in a bowl or bucket, adding grout stain that is the color of the tile. Stir the mixture until the color is uniform.
- 3). Use a putty knife to fill in the crack with the grout. Fill until it is even with the rest of the floor, scraping away any excess with the knife. All the grout to dry overnight.
- 4). Add more grout the next day if needed. Coat the floor with polyurethane when finished, allowing a few days to dry.
