How to Cut Porcelain Wall Tiles

    • 1). Measure the needed cuts carefully. As the adage goes, "Measure twice, cut once."

    • 2). Mark the cut on the porcelain wall tile with a grease pencil.

    • 3). Place the tile in the score-and-snap cutter, lining up the mark with the tile blade.

    • 4). Pull (or push) the tile cutter handle across the wall tile. Only make one score on the tile.

    • 5). Lift the handle up, pressing the pressure handles against the tile. With a quick, short push, snap the tile in two.

    • 6). Clip any rough spots using a set of tile nippers. This will clean the edge to ensure a proper fit for the tile.
