- 1). Sketch out a football-shaped oval, stretched so that the height far exceeds the width of this particular guideline. Take up as much of the paper as you want, as this will be the basis for your spacecraft's body.
- 2). Add a square-like feature to the bottom of the space craft to represent the rocket area, as this will propel the spacecraft. Add triangular wings to each side of the craft as how they are pictured in the reference guide you are using.
- 3). Use a ruler to draw the horizontal and vertical lines to represent each of the spacecraft's body panels. Draw evenly spaced dots along each of these lines to act as the individual rivets of the spacecraft's panels. Use the picture as a reference guide for these individual panels.
- 4). Draw square-like windows near the center of the spacecraft's body so that they mimic the appearance and dimensions in the picture you are using as a reference. Use light pencil strokes until you are confident in the shapes and sizes of these windows.
- 5). Add an antenna to the front of the spacecraft using a ruler to assist you in creating the line. If the spacecraft you are drawing has logos, draw these specific designs in the necessary locations. Erase any guidelines you used in creating this spacecraft.
- 6). Trace all of the intended pencil lines with an ink pen to create bolder look for your drawing. Let the ink dry, then completely erase any remaining visible lines.
