- 1). Mark the measurements on the tile with a pencil. You may need to use masking tape to mark darker stones like black granite tiles.
- 2). Plug the wet tile saw into an outlet. Fill the tray under the tile cutter with water. It is important to keep this reservoir filled with water throughout all of your cuts.
- 3). Adjust the tile cutter's guide bar. The guide bar can be easily unscrewed and adjusted to fit the width of the cut on your tile. Make sure you tile saw has a diamond-tipped blade.
- 4). Place the tile on the table of the wet saw. Turn the saw on and gently push the tile through the saw to make the cut. Do not muscle the tile through the saw. After you have cut two or three tiles, check the water level of the saw and refill as necessary.
