- 1). Draw a vertical rectangle. Divide the rectangle into equal quarters with a vertical and a horizontal line.
- 2). Draw a U-shape or half-circle inside the rectangle from its top line and directly in the center. Erase the top line of the rectangle that is inside the U-shape.
- 3). Make the arm holes of the shirt by drawing a line from the top of the rectangle to just above the center horizontal line. Curve the line slightly inward as you go. Do this on both sides of the shirt.
- 4). Erase the top corners of the rectangle outside the arm holes. Erase the vertical and horizontal lines. Add a collar, pocket or buttons as you wish.
- 5). Outline the shirt in ink. Once the ink has dried, erase all left-over pencil lines.

- 3). Draw a quarter-circle from the top of the rectangle, close to the U-shape, half way to the central horizontal line. Repeat on the other side.
- 4). Draw a slight inward curve from just above the horizontal line to three-quarters of the way down the shirt. Repeat on the other side.
- 5). Erase the top two corners of the rectangle and the straight lines on either side of the curves in Step 3. Erase the horizontal and vertical center lines. Add buttons or a collar as you see fit.
- 6). Outline the shirt in ink. Let the ink dry. Erase all the left-over pencil lines.
