- 1). Add lowercase stickers to an art project such as a scrapbook, painting, collage or wall decoration. You can use these stickers to create a word, phrase or an abstract message.
- 2). Paint or draw lowercase letters onto a painting or collage using a very fine paintbrush. You may elect to paint your name in lowercase at the bottom of the painting, to paint lowercase letters onto signs or to add a message using lowercase letters.
- 3). Draw lowercase letters onto collages, photographs, articles of clothing or walls using a permanent or erasable pen or marker. This creates a more obvious letter appearance. For example, if you draw the words "hope" and "peace" onto a wall, next to a photo of a dove, you create the suggestion of these ideals. By keeping the words lowercase, you keep the message casual and friendly.
- 4). Replace the traditional uppercase found in a poem or message with lowercase letters. Lowercase letters create a different aesthetic than uppercase letters and imply that proper nouns are on the same level as traditional nouns.
- 5). Sew letters onto a quilt, t-shirt or other fabric piece of art using a needle and thread.
