- 1). Clean your hands before attempting to deal with your clothing. You can't properly clean your clothes if you are constantly re-depositing ink onto them via your hands. Try using soap and water first, scrubbing vigorously.
- 2). Scrub your hands with a moisturizing soap that has ground pumice added to it. The pumice gently abrades the ink and dye off of your skin.
- 3). Spray your hands with regular hairspray and allow it to sit for six to 10 seconds. Follow this by washing your hands with warm soapy water. If you have particularly sensitive skin, you may not want to use hairspray on your hands, as it can dry them out.
- 4). Soak your hands in a solution of 10 parts of water to one part of bleach for a couple of minutes. Any remaining printer dye should come right off. It is advisable to apply hand moisturizer after soaking your hands in bleach, as it removes all the natural oils from your hands also.
- 1). Dab the stained area of your clothes with a clean wet sponge until no more ink will come off the fabric. Allow the fabric to dry completely.
- 2). Spray the stained area with hairspray and sandwich the fabric between two paper towels.
- 3). Blot the backside of the stain with the paper towels until the paper towel is not collecting any more ink. If the stain remains, spray it with hairspray again and repeat the blotting process until it is gone.
